Exploring: Sometimes you get lucky.

Still out in the deep black and enjoying the travels. I was wondering when I was going to find something interesting besides Binary and Close Trinary systems. Been mostly Icy/Metals/Gas planets. It was becoming mundane. Jump, Scan star, Hit the Horn, Check System Map, Scoop, Move on.

Well I cant say that anymore.

Jumped into a system and the Foghorn told me there were 9 Objects, hit the map, and my eyes bugged out. I raced over to get a Pic.

Took a few pics and just watched the planet for a bit.

Quite happy, I jumped to the next point on my list. Hit the Foghorn and checked the system map as usual. Another Surprise!

2nd Earth like in 2 systems less than 30 ly apart.

Best part? Both systems have no Discovered by, so with any luck I got a Two-fer

Nice. I still havent discovered one, lol, loads of waters and ammonias, but no ELW. I am just trading in my Clipper so I can fit out another Asp and get back out. I miss the horn.

You can get lucky sometimes, I had three systems in a row that had life based planets, two Outdoor worlds and a water world. But nice find, it is always a nice surprise when you find something like that. Not sure If I've been very lucky but I've explored 31 systems and have found 9 systems with life based planets, some of them are gas giant life, either water based or Ammonia based.

I actually got back so I can be founder of earth like planets..kudos on find though...two back to back is epic..that moment must have been something!

I found two in the same system the other night, and one was in a close orbit with a water world. All 3 had life. That had to be a one in a million find

So far over about 8000 lys of travel I've found 4 so two that close is a good find. Found quite few water worlds though.
