What is the best cheaper ship to explore with. Also interested in the best one as well. Im finding for me exploring has been more fun and would like to start equipping up for that.

I pre-ordered the Mercenary Edition, so I hopped right into my free Eagle and never looked back. The Eagle performed well enough for short range expeditions, but the Cobra really hit the right spot for me as an explorer. The Asp allows for further jumps than the Cobra, and has a few more module spaces as well. But the Asp isn't cheap compared to the Sidewinder, Eagle, Adder, Viper, or Cobra, so you may want to consider one of those as a cheap exploration vessel.

Good ones : Adder, Cobra, Asp
Hauler is a bit limiting
T6 has heat issues
While you can explore in anything, I wouldn't recommend anything else currently, unless you have half a billion for a Conda
