Exporation Feedback and galaxy map intergration

I do enjoy exploration at the moment but I imagine there could be a lot more depth to it. At the moment there is no way of finding out what is happening in the systems we have been the first to find other than returning there. I think within universal cartographics there should be more data on what is happening on the sytems you have scanned, such as the federation sending out a survey mission or Imperials are financing a new outpost in the region. At the very least a log of all the sytems and to what level you have scanned them. It would also be nice if this could have some impact on your galaxy map, even if it's just a subtle marker to show systems with complete scans or incomplete scans and ideally showing what level of scan has been completed there. I don't mean this to be updated with where everyone else has been, just yourself. An example could be that as a new explorer that has only got a basic discovery scanner and no detailed surface scanner you could do a small route but then later on when you have upgraded to better equipment the map would show that there is still data to be gathered from certain areas.

I agree. Also how will the game evolve in colonization and extraction of resources from players contribution to finding and exploring these systems

Exactly. I'm sure the devs have plans for this but it would be nice for the people that have scaned 100's of systems to know which have actually been since colonised so they can see the fruits of there labour. Also new stations should have a little history section saying which commanders had input in the founding/scanning/discovery, I'm not saying they should name the system after them but a small recognition in system would be good, maybe similar to the top bounties section in galnet
