That's unfortunate. You would imagine this data in stored in a file locally.

EDDiscovery is a great tool if you have the patience to use it.
As @Chris Simon says, EDDiscovery is great and you can use it to push data to EDSM where your travel history can be stored and mapped. Iirc, you can download data into spreadsheet form from there.
I don't want to get people too exited but you might like to know that at last F D have decided to incorporate some bookmark management with Odyssey. I have not played with it, just thought you'd like to know:
