Exquisite Focus Crystals - Mission

I'm trying to pick up some Exquisite Focus Crystals.
I notice a mission a Rhea where by I can deliver 7540 of them to receive EFC as a reward.
The pickup starport is Ito in Rhea.
The destination starport is Deb Arsenal.
I look in the commodities and there at 4.
Ok surely I'm not expected to make 1885 deliveries at 4 a pop ?
So I go somewhere else fill up with booze and drop them off at Deb Arsenal.
My mission update shows nothing. I expected it to say 792 of 7540.
Back at Rhea they now have 2 in inventory.
That will take me 3770 deliveries.
HuH?

It is a Wing mission ? Although I have no wing.

What am I missing ?

If you are delivering cargo, the mission giver will provide it on the mission board.

If you are supplying cargo, it's up to you to purchase it from a commodity board at your discretion

You are missing the commodity you need to deliver. And then you need to deliver that in the mission (there is a bar at the bottom right with a - and + and you click the plus, and then confirm...to take from your hold and deliver to the mission) not in the commodity market for it to count.

Thanks for the replies cmdrs !

My point is the Pick-up location never has more then 4 on hand so it would take a
stupid amount of time to complete this. Its doable however no one in there right mind would do it.
I abandoned it.

Now I took a new one on.
Its Wine and the commodities market at Ito has plenty.
I loaded up 792 from the comoditites market.
I am at the destination location and the:
"please confirem amount of items to deliver" is reded out.
It won't let me make a partial delivery.
ie: the 792 of the 7920 I need to deliver.

Now what am I missing ?
Was I not supposed to buy them from the commodities market at the pick=up location ?

THINK I FIGURED IT OUT BY OPENING MY EYES AND READING YOUR RESPONSES.

Thanks !

For the good g5 mats, do wing assassination missions. I know you have a corvette, that should be able to handle it. Jump in, whack your target and leave. I've been doing them for fun and profit, and I've been getting a lot of EFCs that way. Much faster than doing a wing delivery mission by yourself.

Sometimes the target will drop g5 mats after they die, which is a nice bonus if you have some shields left over to scoop up the valuable mats before you leave.
