Also forgot to mention that most of those systems also offer the full range of Pirate Lord Assassination Missions as well.
Which also pay (5) E Focus Crystals a good deal of the time in exchange for the 2.5 or so million CR normal reward.Be sure to Ally yourself with all the factions in Pira, HIP 5623 and if you have time, Cubeo itself. Once done, you will find the majority of them controlling most of the other systems I listed for you with a few exceptions. If you also Ally with those exceptions, you will have the majority of the mission givers for this sector covered.

Also home to one of the tightest, most organized PowerPlay communities going in Elite Dangerous. The Aisling Duval power is home to the famous Prismatic Shields. These can only be obtained by pledging to AD via PowerPlay for 4 continuous weeks or longer.

Why you need those Crystals anyway !?
I think they are very overrated.

For PD Charge enhanced replace with weapon focused PD = more DPS for longer time = better
For shield boosters heavy and resistance wins it all.
I have 25 of those Crystals and I think I will trade in for other materials....
I just saw I have over 100 of them, if only we could trade materials.
I had a ton as well, but upgrading a fleet of old G5 ships to new 3.0 G5 standards used them like crazy...
Well I don't do the Community Goals at all, but I just remembered, I'm already max rep out in Quince. That's where I got all those crystals from originally I think. I had totally forgot about it. I'll try there first as I know I have max rep with all the factions (or most), I know I have some rep in Cubeo, just not nearly as much...Cool! You won't regret it. Enjoy!

Normally it will be a high-paying delivery mission that offers choice of
1) 3.5 million credits or
2) 600K credits and 5 EFC, or
3) 1.5 million credits and +++++Inf/Rep
any progress with Exquisite Focus Crystals ? I try killing anacondas but after dozens kills i gave up. Zero Exquisite Focus Crystals
I see it only in missions like bring 2000 tons of something, travel 2000ly with passangers or kill 206 ships for 3 EFC!!! Totally not a grind...

Also... I wasn't referring to community goals. Our AD group is organized via Slack and Trello and we control our power's actions through organized communication via these third party communication tools. The result is that our PowerPlay activity is a directed effort involving hundreds of players acting as a unit rather than a bunch of random players doing random stuff and achieving nothing at the end of the cycle.
The area I directed you to are our core systems. You don't need to be pledged to Aisling Duval to take advantage of our efforts, but the higher than normal quality of what our core systems offer in terms of missions is down to our efforts.

Just the planetary scan missions out in Quince (a number of scan missions for 5 crystals each) where I tried it out (and used to get them pre 3.0), but now I get bounties on them so going to try over at Cubeo and build rep up there.
Ahhh I got it, I'm on my way over there soon, Quince sucks now and I get bounties which locks me out of everything until I pay it off 400+ ly away. Cubeo as you said looks a lot better and they have low security systems close as well to pay off the bounties...Makes sense to me!

Pssenger missions
I get tons and tons of those one grade lower in RES.
Nope. Not any more. I have got a few from combat/military ships in Anarchy systems. It's rare, but it happens.
I have been getting a lot of them through massacre pirate missions. Got like 4 missions on the go now with each rewarding around 5 per mission
Yeah I just ended up stacking about 6 scan missions and now have 36 of them. Since I don't need a whole lot, I just used my Anaconda in Quince and stacked as many as I could and headed back to a low security system on the way to my next task, hunting down Pharmaceutical Isolators for Thrusters as I'm now low on those...
No, since the patch sometimes previously mission only mats will drop from destroyed high tier ships in RES.
Where? I just now finished killing 90 ships to get 5 of them. And that was best mission in board. Usually bring 2000tons for 3 or travel 1500ly. Pure grind. Anacondas in res, killed 40 zero find.
I find fast way to collect tons of rafined crystals and convert them.

Ive seen them for passenger missions. Others have pointed out planatery scan missions are giving them.
Check you local haunts where you have good local rep and check those mission types.
