Extended time for LEP

Hi Folks, first post so be gentle. I was wondering if there will be an extension on the time available on the lifetime expansion pass due to be dropped from today? A few of my gaming buds bought the beta today but did not buy the pass as a few have been stung in the past with the whole early access thing. Am sure once they get in and play they would cough up the extra to upgrade, but time is getting on and am sure there are a lot of new players in the same boat and most will miss out on this great opportunity to get the pass.

Personally I don't think it's a bad idea as you haven't had time to buy the beta yet, but then again neither have I (I'm standard beta also) but I bought the life time expansion because I believe that fd will deliver on it. It's a risk if you buy it, but at least your helping fund the game.

If you don't get it now, it's not the end of the world, just buy the DLC you want when it's out.

I doubt it. Doesn't benefit Frontier to stretch out the timeline, especially if people are starting to really want the game. Supply and demand. It's not a huge loss, just an early benefit for those who think the game will go a long ways.

And you don't have to play to be convinced. I was sold within 30 secs of an Alpha 1.1 video. And there's been a lot more and better videos out since then.

The way I see it is that the lifetime expansion pass is a reward for people financially contributing to the game before its a sure thing, so I don't think FD should extend the deadline.

I expect there to be similar expansion passes when the game is live, perhaps not one set about for lifetime. Once the game is running in release there are lots of similar business models about.

I sent in a ticket, the response was they had no plans and if that changed would let fans know via the newsletter.

I just missed it, thought it expired today and only just got in to a position that i could have purchased, and would like to buy the LEP and game, though i have no interest in beta. Id rather play it first time with all the bells and whistles.
