Proposal Discussion Extending for expansion lifepass

I don't know if the topic was already debated, my intention is to advance a request for the expansion lifepass.

I think that people should have the opportunity to buy the lifepass after the standard beta is out. At least for one week or two, the time to evaluate if Elite is good enough for an investement.

In this way, buying lifepass wouldn't be a complete leap of faith, people could try the game and decide to buy even all future DLC.

The life pass is a reward for backing Elite BEFORE we know how good the final game is, you don't get the rewards without taking the risks.

The reason early adopters have the possibility to buy the expansions pass and get all future expansions for "free" is BECAUSE we are taking a "leap of faith".

The sales of the future expansions is what is going to keep on funding the development of this game. Personally I think they should have removed these even earlier than they did.

If people later find themselves regretting not backing to that level earlier...well...tough luck! :p

My point is: sell the expansion lifepass for one more week and let people try the game for a couple of hours before this "leap of faith".

and our point is that WE took the leap of faith to get the reward, why should other people get the reward without taking the risk?

A lot of us backed a lot of money even before the game was ready for Alpha, so no one had played it, some guys threw in cash before they even knew if the game would get made at all.
