Extinct animals

I feel like the conservation part of planet zoo could be expanded in either dlc or in the base game with some new animals and a new function for the research center and a new building. How I would like to sea them expand this is with the addition of some recently extinct/ extinct in the wild animals. These could include both habitat and exhibition animals such as the splendid poison frog and the dodo. You could unlock those animals in the research center by researching the animal, which could be unlocked by researching similar animals. Then they could also incorporate a feature from Jurassic world evolution, which is the incubation of the animals in a new incubation center or in the vet building. These features could also spread awareness for research that is being done to bring those animals back. I do think this pack should not go back to far, but I feel like species that have gone extinct in the last 500 years could be added since their niche in the wild hasn't been filled yet and there is real life research being done to bring some of those animals back (like how we recently got the dodo's full genome). This suggestion is an expansion on another post which I'll link below.

Are there any animals I missed that you would like to see if this ever gets made?

Some folks like it, some don't. If I owned the game and/or the world did whatever I wanted, I'd like to see PZ have expansion packs as well as DLCs. Expansion packs would be optional major additions such as: extinct animals, fully aquatic, etc. More expensive, and make some significant change in the game's process (like, expanding the research function for the extinct animals expansion). Folks have strong opinions on these sorts of things and it'd be nice that you could simply skip an expansion if you didn't like it.

Not interested. I got prehistoric kingdom for that. Also modular building system and fantastic looking animals. And animals for free in the next update. Still in early access but it satisfies the need for a extinct animals park with scientifically accurate animals. If you don't care about that then you also have JW and JW2.

IMO planet zoo doesn't need extinct animals and or course I would love to have the wonderful quagga or the Syrian wild donkey but for a "simulator of real live zoos" it would not be "good" however, Prehistoric Kingdom should have them, because it's a zoo game focused in extinct animals and planet zoo should give us more interesting animals that they are endangered

The problems are several...

The first is that people are divided (personally, I don't want extinct animals in Planet Zoo right now). There are still a few living animals missing that the community wants, and we don't know how many more new species there will be.... so we have limited space. I'd prefer birds first anyway!

The second is that even one pack with 8 extinct animals is not enough to fulfill the wishes even choosing the most necessary ones (yes I think people will want more).... as for 500 years ago, I really doubt that dlc without mammoth or smilodon will sell....

The third is that the game focuses on protection, even the last dlc reminds us of that.... I know it's "just a game" so why not add it, but I wouldn't feel the same way about Planet Zoo anymore as before. In this game, I imagine how these animals live and I am aware that I can see such animals with my own eyes at the local zoo. I can help them in some way if I can and there is a possibility. We know how they behave, what they do, etc. With extinct species it is different.

I know there are fans of extinct species, I like them too, but I really think at this point in the game there is no point in talking about them. There are really a lot more animals missing, not writing about birds and fish.... Extinct animals should be the last possible addition, if Frontier includes them at all.
For such a thing then I agree, before that, however, I am out
