Extracting 3D Models, is it allowed?

I think the issue is not about using the 3D models in video's - as has already been pointed out this has benn done in ED exclusive content video's such as the size comparison video.

The issue I am not sure about, and the OP as well, is using the models in other engines.

That said, I am no way in a position to say anything definitive about the issue.
