Hardware & Technical extreme 3d pro ,NO THROTTLE RESPONSE when i use my FSD. please help

im new i barely know how to play. i had this game for about a week and a half. i first started using a super old saitek joystick i had laying around and everything was going good. I also really like this game so i spent a little extra money i saved up and bought a NEW logitech extreme 3d pro.the joystick it self works great in this game and others. well i just got it today and started playing only to realize on my first jump that my throttle is completely unresponsive only after using my FSD. it just stays at 30 KM and no matter how much i move the throttle up and down it stays at 30 km. once i press (J) and enter super cruise thats it no more throttle and im stuck going 30 km. can any1 please help me. also yes i did install the latest Logitech drivers for this joystick.

i know some people may get mad that i posted this same post in support, if this is you IM SORRY i just want to try and fix this asap. im guessing way more people will see this here then in the actual support thread.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm going to move this to Hardware and Tech as I think you'll actually get a better response here, as this is where most joystick/HOTAs and associated peripheral support threads are.

It's quite possible there's something funny with key binds. It's been a while since I've looked at the basic key binds, and they are a bit...extensive in this game. To put it mildly.

You may have accidentally hit the reverse throttle button...

Or then for some reason or other the throttle axis is not bound in the control bindings?

One thing you should check would be for any conflicting double-assignments (alot of Controls can have multiple Assignments; normally those don't conflict but AFAIK it's still possible to setup Control bindings that interfere/disrupt each other).

- ensure you have the Analog Throttle set (Controls Setup permits to set it up in a digital manner as well)
- best to stay clear of "Alternative Flight Controls" and "Landing Overrides", unless you have a very good reason to utilize them

In general, the Throttle should act in SuperCruise just like it does in Normal Space. Just from memory, I'm not aware of any current known issues.
(I remember there used to be an issue with Flight Assist OFF and then entering SuperCruise, but that was fixed a very long time ago?)

If it helps, this is how I had mine setup when I was still using it :

yea i might have to put reverse as a button. sounds like a good idea if nothing else works . when i try this again. which would be sad to me really since my old saitek dose it perfectly fine. + and - on the throttle, the 3d pro just has so many nice buttons on it. lol thanks for your help!

Just a quick shot.

Check if your throttle is bound to throttle and not thrust forward axis.
In regular flight it pretty much works same as throttle would, but in cruise it would be unresponsive.

um i think thats what im doing wrong.. problem is im so new to the game im really not sure. but you would be able to see it in the video. or how would i set it differently so my throttle works in supercruise and just normal speeds when not super cruiseing

As suspected, you didn't bind throttle to axis. Just as a digital input. Delete binds for thrust forward/backward. And reassign your throttle to throttle axis.
