Extreme stutter and fps drop in supercruise in cqc beta. High end machine

I am a 980sli user and am experiencing extreme stutter and fps drop in supercruise only in the new beta. in 1.4 everything runs smooth except right up close to planets. anyone else having this ?

I have something that fixes a single card...and shouldn't...as far as anyone can tell...change your PhysX setting to a graphics card rather than auto or CPU. Obviously, your mileage will vary.

Yeah I have been getting this, I have a single 980, which is running fine with the Live version of ED, CQC runs great apart from the respawn bug, but yes main game in this Beta, tracking fps drops in open a lot, not in stations so much but mainly in SC.

What versions of the oculus runtime and nvidia driver are people running?

I had the same but when I turned off 1.5 SS in game, and turned on 4X DSR in Nvidia with Oculus slider at max. it seems to have gone away.
