Extremely High Latency

Ever since the latest update I have been experiencing extremely high latency, upwards of 2,000ms ping. Not only is this happening in the Elite Dangerous client, but it effects every process with network activity running on my entire network. There is not a huge amount of data moving through any process on any device on my network, just extremely high latency whenever Elite is running.

Has anyone else experienced this or perhaps has an idea of how to deal with this ultra high latency?

I have tried running Elite on two separate computers on the same network and experienced the same results. One pc has Elite installed on a HDD the other it is installed on a SSD.

I realized that Elite was also rapidly changing UDP ports as well, but I'm unsure if this is relevant.

I do find it odd sometimes when it seems like im completely out of someones line of fire, yet still taking damage.

Seems like since somewhere last week (possibly thursdaynight, right after the patch, but not 100% sure on that) jump from one system to the next on occasion takes far longer than it used to.

im not being sarcastic. As an IT technician I say this over and over, Have you tried turning it off and then on again. Im talking about your router here.
