Eye of the Taiga problem

First of all, hello :D

Im pretty new at this game and Im playing the career mode. But I have a problem at the Eye of the Taiga mode: I barely have anything. Im missing a lot of the buildings, toys, animals etc and I dont know why. I cant hold my animals or do the first mission without all these things. Is there a problem with the game, am I missing something or did I do something wrong?

Is this a scenario where you need to build the zoo from scratch? If so, you would first need to place a tradecenter, keeper hut, staff room, etc. Facilities --> StaffFacilities

Or do you mean that when you go to that tab, it's empty, no staff buildings there to choose from? If that's the case, are any filters turned on?

It's the first scenario zoo that you have to build completely yourself, hence why I think all those things simply weren't researched yet. The staff buildings are already placed near the entrance there but you start out with only the basic pieces and the number of animal species you can adopt is pretty limited.

Okay - so, in Eye of the Tagia, you have several of the basic facility buildings already there but you don't have the vet research building or the mechanic's building (this is why the mechanic research button and the vet research button are greyed out when you open the 'zoo' menu). That is why you have limited habitat enrichment items and building pieces. In order to research habitat items and food advantages, you need to build the 'research center', in order to get more building pieces and (more importantly, if you want to house a bear) barriers, you need the 'mechanic's hut.' I'd suggest hiring a mechanic to just to research (it takes a long time for the mechanics to do their thing).
