Eye patch "accessory" and other cybernetic augmentations?

I'm potentially on the brink of losing an eye just now, IRL, and I went to update my holo me to wear an eye patch same as IRL me does, and lo and behold no eyepach. This got me thinking, with the amount of customisation we have for our cmdr's avatar, plus the amount of roleplay pirates/veterans, maybe there would be a market for eye patches.

And as an additional goal for the new accessory, why not add various cybenetic augmentations?

I know there are cybernetic eyes, but being honest they look nothing more than a contactlense design, I would have liked to have had the option of a patch or a more radical sybernetic augmentation like the sort of stuff in the following pictures. Being honest with you, I'd have bought it from the store if needs be but hey ho...

I disagree about the contact lense concept and personally think they more look like electronic fake prosthetic eye balls (c/f G'kar - Clip from Baylon 5).

That being said, I agree with the OP that eye-patches and/or less visually pleasing (i.e. more cyber-punk) cybernetic eyes would probably not go amiss.

Thnaks rlsg, while I've now moved onto a point in the recovery where I can wear shades in a darkened room, I'm still needing the eye patch in daylight, I'd still pay hard earned IRL money for cyberpunk eye patch type accessories. Hell, were they available, even in a couple of moths whereby hopefully I'm seeing normally, I suspec my CMDR would still sport the aforementioned cosmetics.
