Eye problem

I honestly thing about getting OR anytime soon but I've got a serious question to those who know anything about topic.
My left eye was damaged couple years ago. Generally my body uses only right eye in every day usage ( partial retina damage). But its not that bad. I see depth normally, I drive a car like anyone else play tennis and stuff but when I close my right eye I can partially see everything around. Will this cause troubles while using this kind of equipment?

I don't believe so; in general, once it's configured correctly for you, it will work as well as your vision in real life. For example, I only use my left eye and my experience using my DK2 is amazing. Fair enough, I don't get the "3D" effect but it's the feeling of being there that's important; it's as though your head is surrounded by a spherical monitor that tracks your movements.

It should work fine. I've tried closing one eye and still get depth perception. The hud still floats while looking with one eye only. I hope this helps you.

You see things just as you would in real life. A friend of mine has acute astigmatism and he cannot see well out of his left eye, the Rift still works excellent for him.

You will not have any problems with a Rift

I don't think there will be a problem, actually quite the opposite because you don't really focus in the distance
the screen is enormously close to your face and the closer you can get it the better it is. the display produces its own light and brightness can be set.
I wouldn't recommend it to people who wear glasses though. The Dk2 is far from a commercial version. It has to be your passion to explore VR or its wasted money.
if money is an issue try to find someone who can show you.

I hope they implement what is done on the Samsung gear VR, the possibility to adjust the Focus with a physical wheel.
