PvP FA-Off KB+M Reccomendations

Can anyone with experience flying FA-Off on KB+M recommend some mouse settings for me.

I tweaked them a bit, which made me more stable, but I don't know enough about what I'm tweaking to make it optimal.

My first test - pretty awesome!

I can totally see how FA-Off can be addictive.

It's soooooooooo ....(breathe in)... ooooooooo.... (breathe in) .... ooooooo... much fun!

I do it with HOTAS though, which has its own challenges, but I'm semi-decent. Can land (most of the time), take off (no problems), and combat in asteroid belts (as long as I don't get too close to the rocks). It's becoming my mode of choice of flying.

Next step is to try out KBM. Just there isn't much space on my desk for good mouse handling (got trackball). I can tell from your video that there's more precision to mouse control.

Current issue I'm having atm is that in order to not overcorrect with the mouse I have to jack with the settings, but that screwes up my maneuverability in SC.

On some suggestions, I've alternate mapped keys for SC maneuvering, but it feels unnatural.

how do you find that? havent used discord for a while.

I fly FA off with a k/m, but my settings could probably use some refinement. I can handle battle and all, but it is easy to lose control of the mouse if you move it a bit much, i suspect my settings are far from optimal. Will try to post them later

Well then maybe someone else will? I didn’t know you where the arbitrator of such knowledge. I play with a gamepad due to a mild physical problem (tho I have been working on kb mouse options) and I was just curious to how others bind stuff so I can work on it with my modified setup :p

Maybe someone will, maybe you'll join discord, I don't know. It's probably easier to join to discord than it is for me to find a suitable image hosting site etc etc..... I used to use image hosting sites all the time for work sharing and I remember it being hassle.

You can use gamepad for full fa off, there's even some very good pvp'ers out there who use pads.

I would recommend the xbox elite pad because it has the extra buttons on the back, you can have 2 profiles to switch between and it's fully customizable with some software called "rewasd".

The big downfall being the xbox elite pad is stupidly overpriced.

Here's the xbox elite pad and kb/m being used full FA off in certain situations.

I was on discord and left because of certain individuals within our community. I use a elite controller and use rewasd for pip macros and for orher mode switching. Very nice videos

I was extremely active on the PvP discord’s before someone took something to far and left it all. It’s just a game to me. But that’s not important now I just wanna learn my friends
