Newcomer / Intro FA off toggle

Hello all, just started playing again after a break.

I now notice FA off and on is mapped to toggle in the Ship panel as opposed to the main key mapping menu.

Somehow I can't alter it in the panel..it's greyed out. I want have it on permanently without holding a button down.

Any ideas?

It's in the menu but I want to 'Hold input mode' which isn't. This command is in the ship panel but greyed out.

I don't want to hold a button continually whilst manoeuvring.

Like Para said, you can set it in the options - click the + sign next to the binding. "Hold" means that you have to hold the button, "Toggle" means that you can use the button to toggle it on and off.

The button in the right panel is greyed out when switching F/A modes is not available, for example while docked or in supercruise.
