Afer discussion between a couple of us, I have decided to start a facebook page for anyone seeking a refund/advice on refunds. More info will be added very soon, lets get this ball rolling! Anyone who is interested please pm me. The page will be created in the next day or so, we aim to advise and help people who have been treated harshly by FDs apparent disdain regarding our refund requests.

Just printed this out and placed it up on my daughters wall, it will help her fall to sleep quickly.

I would be interested in this. Game is major broken, doesn't have what it advertised and will never be completed. Just like the last Elite game..

Surely this must be an attempt at forming an Elite: Dangerous "Attention Seeking Guild."

Perhaps you could hold an annual convention at the returns section of a large department store. :)

I don't get this... if an OLD game version didn't satisfied me, because that time it was already broken, why giving money out for something which isn't even finished yet?! Now, no offense, I'd wait release... the few bugs will be handled out... so far FD went the right way and tried to get rid of any bug... still some ongoing of course :)

This is NOT a refund thread, but a thread pointing people who require a refund to a place where they CAN discuss it without the constraints of a forum, plus it will be member-only and trolls will disappear faster than Simon Cowwells latest act :)

Wellington, I sympathise with you, I agree with you on many points that you've made regarding offline/broken promises and how refunds should have/ should be dealt with. I understand your frustration, but personally I can't help but think this step is too far, too soon! give them a chance, unfortunately for me I suspect you're more likely to see a refund before I see offline. all the best anyway and good luck.

Yep, I agree with Polared. Regardless of their obvious failings with having no offline game, give them a chance to sort through the refund requests. If they mess that up then, well, they only have themselves to blame.

Thanks for the kind words, however, how are we supposed to discuss this issue with over zealous mods who are quite willing to make up stories regarding "threats".....complete nonsense. In 10,000 posts, not one threat was made against ANYONE, yet that is the reason they give.....Is it any wonder we would rather talk about it elsewhere? FDs shot themselves in the foot on this one. I was quite willing to play ball and give them the benefit of the doubt but their actions really leave me no other choice but to take it elsewhere.

I requested a refund and will give them a reasonable amount of time to reply. FD's stance has been getting plenty of coverage by the press. Don't feel the need for a Facebook page but I won't begrudge you for creating one.

I know that a lot of people are upset because there is no offline mode but in your opinion what other way is the game broken because I happen to think that its pretty good and stable and does everything that Elite should do.

This is getting really bloody boring now. Why couldn't you post this in the mega thread or refunds thread. I'm losing sympathy in a big way.
