Faction bounty collection tip

For those who are bounty hunting and am racking up a lot of bounties in factions you are not close to (I'm in Federation space, so Alliance and Empire for me), one tip is to get a separate Type-6 with basically just a A4 FSD. This should enable you to quickly go to the other factions just to collect bounties, and then head back to wherever you are operating from and switch to your primary ship. Saves a lot of hassle, and minimizes the "oh no, not again" feeling when you get those bounties...

Great tip! I'm in just such a situation. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the maximum jump range of a stripped down freagle with an A class FSD?

18ly fully equipped (weapons+utility)

So by comparison, a completely stripped down Type-6 with an A4 FSD has 28.11ly range. This makes it fantastic as simply a transport of the player. So, I can have one combat ship in one place (let's say a combat zone), and a mining ship elsewhere, and so on, and then use the Type-6 just to quickly go between those locations without having to think about distances too much. Then I also don't need to invest at all in FSDs for those other ships, as they are only meant to be used locally anyway.

Well, I already own the freagle, so if I gave it a good jump drive and a fuel scoop, it would save tons of cash over buying a type 6. Just means that I have to make a couple more jumps. Add a few weapons and I can actually defend myself while fuel scooping.
