Obviously this is not an immediate priority, but looking ahead to the future of legs --
1) Currently: all NPCs look like they are part of the same faction, regardless of their allegiance. Suggestion: clothing styles of main contacts/workers in stations (maybe not required for random NPCs) should be specific to the faction they are aligned to (i.e. Empire NPCs should have a distinct look vs. Federation or Alliance NPCs).
2) Currently: Player-purchasable suits are split out simply by manufacturer, leading to battles featuring two sides that look essentially identical.
Suggestion: add faction-specific armor. Beyond from a character choice standpoint, it would be great to be able to visually spot troops by faction (i.e. spotting a squad in Alliance armor instead of enemies always having the exact same armor choices as allies).
Bonus suggestions: 1) relatively more chaotic looking armor for Pirate factions, 2) cosmetically different armor for different ranks in a faction (would apply to NPCs as well, so a high ranking soldier would be instantly recognizable vs a much lower threat rookie soldier).
Thoughts?
