Powerplay Faction defence vessels don't use PP weapons??

Just a quick question. Why don't the system defence vessels use the relevant weapons of different powers?? they of all ships would be the most likely to use them wouldn't they?

would be reasonable.
would probably also spawn lots of posts about overpowered ncps with their "100% hit railguns", "insane accuracy with plasma launchers".
now add weapons that deactivate your modules, burst railguns, fast-fire plasma accelerator, deactivate your FSD, overheat you or small multicannons that really hurt.

lol, not every faction has a weapon that does anything.
Crytoscramblers in NPC are as good as no weapons on them.
 
System Defense is not tied to Power control whatsoever - they can all be explicitly aligned or opposed to a given Power's ethos with no discernible effect in the system itself - so that falls flat. If you rather mean Powerplay NPCs, Fergal is quite correct. Maybe 6/11 Powers have modules that would be better than stock NPC loadouts.

Oh noooo, a mining laser that does more damage than the none at all a normal one does...
 
Imperial Hammers on all Shield of Justice ships, fun

At least now they have stopped the Federal agents being in imperial couriers, and the imperial agents from being in federal dropships
