Faction rep loss on and offline?

I have been allied with all 3 major factions for sometime, king in empire, post captain in fed. Yesterday I noticed alliance had dropped to friendly, this was expected. So I decided after the new patch to work on fed ranks again. Then I see yesterday and today all 3 factions and minor allied factions all have red ticks while I am online. Did I miss something in the dev notes?

That's about right. No idea why, but they tick 24/7 at the moment.

They put a vague bullet in one of the patch notes about moving reputation decay to the major factions instead of the minor factions, but no mention that they changed it from offline to online (which I'm pretty sure is the case now). The constant red arrows are a bit depressing though and I noticed the cycle will occur even a few minutes after you have increased reputation for a certain faction (I was getting them during a trading run as well). For starters, there should be a little delay before the decay kicks in if you have increased your reputation in the last X minutes/hours/days. I'd suggest starting off with a week as that seems to be a Powerplay-ish thing to do.

Well, when rep decay affected the minor factions, I experienced it while being online, too. Also, it was announced in the 1.3 beta already that rep decay would be changed to major faction only; it was announced and then nothing happened until several minor updates later and lots of attempts of bringing this to their attention.

Yeah I'm still getting this and, provided I've understood it correctly, it's getting frustrating.

Rep decay ticks when offline, and only for Major Factions (Emp/Fed/Ali), Minor Factions (stations) do not decay?

If this is the case, obviously not counting completing missions that antagonise other Minor Factions, then it's broken and annoying.
