Factory reset - a cure for buzz crashes?

I had been experiencing significant crashes for a significant period, pre and post updates. Hard resets were not cutting it. Forum shared opinions that caused me great concern suggesting my Xbox was on its way out. I bit the bullet and did a complete re-set on the machine and reloaded Elite/Horizons. This has significantly reduced the number of crashes I have experienced. I am now convinced that crashes I now experience are related to Frontier diffs. One I do continue to experience suggests I have lost internet connection. When thrown back to the xbox 'homepage', this is indeed the case. However, all other consoles/laptops etc are connected and functioning normally. My xbox is wire connected and the xbox quickly resets itself as connected again.

In short, a factory reset significantly reduced my number of crashes (from 1 or 2 per hour) to 1 every few hours, sometimes even zero crashes! I think the continued glitches, crashes, freezing then crash I do now experience are as a result of the ongoing game development.

Felt it appropriate to share my experience.

i not no bbout the xbone but my 360 use to use so much of my bandwith my router would think it was a ddos attack and temparly block it

I get the same degree of stability (approx 1 crash every 2 hours, sometimes none) and I've never factory reset my XB1.

I find that if I do a single activity (just mining, just combat, just exploration) then the game is quite stable. I get the crashes if I mix it up over a couple of hours e.g. fly around, land on planets, visit outfitting, enter a RES...

The most common place for the game to crash (for me) is when you enter hyperspace, but an annoying bug that crept in with 2.1.03 is a crash when you return to your ship from your SRV...very irritating :)
