Faith=renewed!

combat ships in the reach of combat pilots, a reasonable income for same and explorers (though I think trading still comes out on top*, though I cant say I've extensively tested this...), and to top it all off, a system map key!

Incredible!

Now I know some are expressing their concerns (some would say whining) about 'dumbing down'. To a certain extent I agree, the insurance change in particular makes life a lot easier. But I'm trying to take such things and process them through my general world view. Namely, does it directly damage me? No. Does it make others happy? Yes. Can I adapt to the changes and carry on as though nothing has changed? Yes.

You can always make the game harder for yourself. Force yourself to play under a self-imposed ironman mode and delete your save every time you die. Problem solved, the game is harder for you, and others can enjoy it their own way - each to their own :)

As for me, I'm off to enjoy being more immersed now that I can use voice attack to pull up the system map (it even works for the system you are hovering over in the galaxy map! Love it!)

*which for the record I don't think is a problem, provided it doesn't create the two tier society that previously existed...seriously someone could do a political study of the upper and working class attitudes that developed while income was drastically different!
