I really like the halo efect as the rocket gets to the thinner atmosphere. Watching the halo get blacker and larger then changing to white just before stage seperation.
The other cool effect was watching the second stage baffle start to glow red about 3 seconds into its burn pattern.
Both of those would be cool effects for 4.

As for the water I would figure on it being condensation from the atmosphere but I'm no physicist.
