Does anyone know if the game updates are just going to provide new dinosaurs? Because I really feel there so no point in cramming in new dinos when the behaviour AI and customisation options etc still need some development

I'm pretty sure the patches for fixes etc will be separately from the Fallen kingdom DLC, also a Day One patch is already confirmed.

FD supports their games with patches and improvements and I expect JWE being no exception, especially AI tweaking. Firaxis strategy games are endlessly patched till AI is right, FD has patched PC for more than year now, and ED has seen regular base line improvements for 4 years. It is common practice. There some idealistic vision how that should not happen, but to be frank, in old times, game where full of bugs and had quite a limited gameplay, and even then patches were released to address issues. Software development is complex and there's no way to avoid it.

I hope the day one patch is a really good patch... because I want this game fixed by the time I
purchase my copy in August.
