Family (Taxon) interactions and socializing:

I would like to see members of a family (taxon) being able to try and socialize with a closely related species in the
same family. If the attempt of socializing doesn't work out, the two members of the family can leave each other alone
or start a fight for some reason IDK. I would like to imagine two members of the Spinosauridae trying to fish somewhat
near each other without a fight breaking out between the two in the cretaceous cruise. So what are your thoughts on this?
Please discuss in a good manner. (the reason why I posted this topic was to get a discussion on this)

Generally speaking - Carnivores do not like to hang out with other species of Carnivores. Even if they are in the same family. It is true today and it seems to have been true in the Mesozoic as well. This is especially true - if the two species share the same niche. As the carnivores tend to see either other as rivals for the same food supply.

It is a bit different - if they have different niches - types of prey.

I know but I wanted to see some form of socializing even if it's rare/uncommon for carnivores. At least we can
have related species of herbivores communicate with each other. I just want to see carnivores to at least
leave each other alone if they can't tolerate being close together since I imagine that some of these carnivores
in Jurassic World would be ''peaceful'' towards one another if the carnivores had a really good food supply.

The closest I think we will get is possible have a larger species like T.rex, Spinosaurus, or Ceratosaurus living kind of peacefully with a raptor species.

In some of the promos we see a Metriacanthosaurus living beside a Deinonychus. But something like a T.rex and raptor actually teaming/working together as a team - like we saw in Jurassic World - is very rare, and extreme set of circumstances.

Yeah I agree, it might just be that. I would love to put carnivore species together and hope to see if they
can live together without killing each other. Because I like to have enclosures with multiple carnivore species
that can hopefully co-exist if fed well with goats, rabbits, fish, etc and being satisfied with some other needs.

Well I did hear that you could try and give carnivores genes that would make them more less likely to be aggressive.

Yeah, you are probably correct, I believe I got the information from one of his videos or some Frontier dev video.
