Famous explorers: the new soothis/ceos

I was poking at the passenger lists last night, and it appears the new long distance moneymaker could be stacking Explorer passenger missions. The undisclosed system I was in had a lot of 30-50 million missions to the same place, 12 kilys away. 2 week mission time.

So exploring now pays? I haven't really dabbled in it beyond one 4 kily venture. Is 2 weeks for a 24 kily round trip realistic in a ship large enough to stack passenger missions?

24 k ly are around 12 hours ingame time in a ~35 ly jumprange ship. so, with a engineered (because cabins do weight) conda, you could do that with 1 hour jumping & honking a day, and very occasional scanning.

a-b-a state depending trading will net you roughly ~10 mio/h in a conda ... so you would need to stack missions for 120 mio for the same cr/h.

anyway, i'll scout such a system next time i plan a trip into the black!

right now i have a 31k from sothis passenger missions for 70 mil reward but the destination is a neutron star system ... is it dangerous ? i have an asp explorer 30 ly range with 16 cab bussines .. i could put 2 missions for around 120 mil in the same region...
