Edit: Pioneer is certainly coming along nicely - but I'm beginning to think that by the time it's actually complete, Elite Dangerous will be with us...

Perhaps, but there will always be a place for the open source communities. After all, without them keeping the dream alive all these years, Elite Dangerous would have a much harder time getting off the ground in my view.

Anyways, back on topic. I think this thread should be the one for all those cool fan created arty type Elite vids and pictures. Riedquat's got a real talent for these and I hope he does some more, but if any of you find anything else out there with the "WOW" factor, stick a link here. Finally if there is enough interest, I will sticky it and possibly re-name it too if Riedquat agrees :)

Hey Geraldine, that sounds like a great idea, it would be excellent to have all of these in one place.

I know these videos and for anyone wanting to try Elite II for the first time, they are a valuable resource of hints, tips and general things to help those unfamiliar with the game.

Maybe I missed out not playing anything other than the BBC and Electron. I remember looking at some other version and it was all pink and thought Nah Ill give it a miss! :eek:
