I'm working very hard to get the next one together... well there are quite a few in the works actually :)

The thing is, there are a lot of assets to create, as the following videos are going to be much broader in scope and content. The first one was just one ship. I'm aiming at creating either a whole series based around concepts in the game, and/or... I'm working on making them tie together to form a longer piece (released episodically).

Producing each of the ships takes a fair amount of time, and then the sets, animating... it all adds up (oh and rendering it all out as well). One man studio and all that :)

It's only been just over two weeks since the first one. I'm thinking with the next lot that I may try and bring them all close to completion before I start releasing them, so that way I can put one out every week for a month or two.

If they are really popular, and I have the time, I'll then maybe work on a second series aiming it closer towards the end of summer (with a few mini ones in between). It all depends on how much time I have with normal work. I'm lucky at the mo in that I have a fair bit of spare time, but that can change very quickly.

Anyway, will let everyone know on here when I am close to releasing the first one. I'll maybe do a few teasers in the run up to it :)

But just so you know, it'll be a month or two at least. If you have a youtube account, then I guess the best thing to do is to subscribe to my channel, and that should inform you of any new videos straight away.

Thanks for the comment by the way, it is lovely to have an appreciative and anticipatory audience! I can't wait for you to see the new stuff!!!

Im kind of hoping to create a kind of Kris Avery presentation cd or dvd with all his Elite anims, Screensavers etc in the future all menued and looking nice once hes done a few.... Then il make it downloadable from the site as an iso everyone can burn to disk as a keepsake of the Elite Dangerous Kickstarter:)

If Kris approves of course :)

Let me know if you want to go 'live'. ;) I have nearly three hundred students, a green screen studio, 40 professional cameras 40 odd editing suites, sound booth, etc... all available.

I also have some contacts with the Drama department and such...;)

That sounds like a very interesting offer! I'll have to see where I go with the script and how it pans out. I'm very much thinking of having people in this, but to what degree and how is totally up in the air at the moment.

I've just had a bit of a whammy thrown my way in terms of a big job for one of my main clients, so my time on this has been restricted a bit... but only for a short while. I'm still working away at it though any spare time I get ;)

I'll message you properly (pm) and pass on my email so we can have a chat about it :) Out of interest, where abouts are you based?

Sorry I didn't see this Synchro. I've been thinking a very similar thing for a while now! Great minds think alike and all that :)

Though (hopefully you won't take offence!) I'd prefer to put it together at my end. I've got quite a bit of experience with creating DVDs, and I've got some very specific ideas I want to do for it with regard to menus, extras and all sorts of little things. I see it almost as an extended part of the project, and part of the fun of making all this. I'm hoping that anyone who downloads it will enjoy it too!

But if you're willing to host it(?), that'd be fantastic!

Anyway, lets see how it all pans out. I've still got a lot of work ahead of me before I can even think about that!

ah Thanatos. wasnt that by Durell software. loved that game, couldnt tell you what the plot was or what you had to do in it but loved it all the same. i can hear my spectrum loading up now with that tuneful

On the Elite: Dangerous wiki, I have created a Fan Videos page, to contain any fan-made E: D videos (please don't add FE2 vids etc).

Currently I have put The Return of the Cobra, Elite Squad!, E: D Sorcerer, the E: D / Firefly Cross-Over, and Gamevid4's E: D Promo videos on it.

Are there any other fan-made E: D videos out there?
