I've also already heard of someone getting their wife interested in the game by getting her to read Lave Revolution. Clearly it is our civic duty to force the fiction on all of our loved ones and random strangers in the street to help expose them to the open and immersive universe of Elite!

Wow, they look shockingly poor.

I do hope the colour balance problem is owing to the image used on the site. :( If it is, then they look great, but the bleeding grey edges and dull palette is a problem.

I'm a bit worried about the spines. I showed the image to 10 people in work, and only one was able to say 'hey, that's a space ship'. I do hope they look better in real life.
