Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval farming merits

new to power play

need to farm merits for Aisling

Want to do it via combat. Where can i farm those 30 merits per kill at the moment. everywhere i have tried so far doesnt seem to post the merit to the f4 screen. so i assume i am doing something wrong.

You'll need to head to a control system for an enemy power and destroy power play vessels there, any applicable system will get you merits but there's probably a specific system or two that's a priority to be attacked. I can't tell you which as I'm on holiday at the moment, try figuring it out from the power play view in your map, though if you're new it might not be obvious.

Try looking up some people from Aisling factions, mainly the Prismatic Imperium.

Right, just find a control system in an opposing power. Then see what type of ships the powerplay screen for opposing powers says to undermine. For Archon Delaine as just an example, when you click on a control system, it says to destroy "Kumo Crew Watch" ships. If you are trying to find them in supercruise, you will also need to interdict them. Only anarchy government control systems lets you attack and destroy the target ships without a bounty.
