FAss. On - FAss. Off Miyagi style space combat for beginners

Hard reverse and roll to keep the enemy above me combined with vertical/lateral thrusters was my standard technique against small ships pre-2.1, when they were predictable.

Bigger ships I just came to within 100m and maintained position under their belly, out of their arc of fire hammering their powerplant, I found getting good with vert-lat thrusters was the trick.

So if I'm West Coast USA that means my evening is your next week on Tuesday? :)

Is Soopyyy your CMDR name? If so I'll add you next time I'm on, I'm CMDR V. Corleone if you switch on before me.

I'll head toward your system next time I log in.

I have a buddy I play with regularly from Utah, so I can manage your time zone just fine. Soopyyy is indeed my CMDR name.

Good stuff, midnight here now so won't be on until tomorrow, I'll add you as a friend sometime during the day at work and make my way over tomorrow evening hopefully. I'm in 89 Leonis, HazRES, Low RES and High RES all with a dozen ls of Sanger Dock, but I'm always happy to find new places.

Looking forward to winging up and learning some tricks from you!

Soopyyy - just hightailed it over to Arietis and settled into Snyder in a quiet moment at work.

I may have managed nine jumps and a docking manoeuvre on KBAM, but I'm not risking anything else without my HOTAS!

I've added you to my friends list.

I'll look out for you next time I log in.
