"Fast Track" scales?

Seriously? Then what's the point in a trade power if all of their prep, undermine and control missions are tied to the same damn cooldown that's capped, at max, 50 units every 30minutes? Seeing as it scales you can not make money from this as a trader, infact you have to SPEND money in order to get to an acceptable rank(3). What's worse is Edmund's rating 5 is specific to trade goods and the only way you can get to that is by spending millions in order to get there. 10/15/20/25/50 is FAR too low for the price. 150k for 15? 100k for 10? That's 10k a pop with no discount if you're picking them up at higher amounts. If that's the case, why even bother with limiting a fast track option to 10/15/20/25/50 at a time??

Am I honestly expected to come back to a station every 30minutes for the sake of, realistically, 20 trade agreements? That's five times a day in a week I have to do these stupid runs, losing money from my trade route at the same time! That's five hours play every day just for these stupid trade agreements!!

In my humble opinion traders would benefit from being independent. No "wanted" status and you can reap the passive trade benefits from all powers.

undermine, as far as i can tell is not always capped, only collecting cargo is capped, if you go hunting ships for powerplay points you can get 135 in only one or two hours, if you don't die, as for trading, its more of an "add this to your route" than the whole "ship only this" mentality, nevertheless, i think that it should give you x more every 30 min, not a 30 min cool down, so you can go to a station everyday and get 480 instead of 10, or have each station have its own cool down.

There is ZERO point in joining Powerplay if you're a trader. Absolutely ZERO point.

You should probably stop trying to make it an objective point. There's plenty of traders that have found a reason to be involved. Also, there's plenty of these threads already, you couldn't post your opinion in them?

You can only undermine by trading/sending agreements with Edmund. It shares the same cap as Prep and Control timers too. This is mind boggling!

Yeah, they should at least have this kind of stuff stacking. Say you're not online for a day you come back and those 10 caps have stacked over the hours so you can trade them until the cap is reached. As is it's just stupid. It's a massive loss to profits as a Trader either way. As is very few trade routes inside Alliance space is profitable.

It's worth fast tracking, the weekly salary offsets our losses

How the hell is it worth it? Fast Tracking to rank 3 is 7.5 million! We get 500k in return each week! Rating 5 is 100million! You also get decay each week which is 50% of your merits gone! 50% of 10k is 5k. That's 50million to stay at rating 5 which is the entirety of your "bonus."
