Fast track tickets/queues

A fast pass que would be an amazing idea and so realistic for today. Of course this also gives you an opportunity to rake in some extra money! Placing booths that would sell fast track passes all throughout the park would surely rake in some serious cash, especially with extremely large crowds and this would be able to keep some guests happy!!

+1 [up]

I would definitely like to see this type of system in Planet Coaster. Additionally, it would add more to the financial management portion of the game.

There should be an option for them to be free also though. For example, Disney World's Fastpass system is free but Universal Express is not. Both do the same thing.

Yeah I know when going to the parks around me or when going to the larger parks like Cedar Point they are not free.

This would imply that we have queues long enough to justify this though? You'd never have been able to have the facility on RCT3 because unless you manufactured it in some way, the queue was never a coaster train long..

But assuming that yes, we will have a representative queue of a decent length, then this idea!! :D

Well if Frontier does manage to allow 20,000 guests in a park, I think there will be long lines at a lot of the rides. That would be great if they could do that! That would also require the guest AI to not mind waiting for an hour or maybe more in a line.

It excites me a lot to think that I may just have a park that has 20,000 people in it with coasters that have a 3 hour queue.. Makes the effort of building the rides and themeing it properly so much better!

+1.
It adds a deeper level to the simulation. And i like all ideas that have to do with better queues. I definitely want to see full queue lines from time to time and such, getting more profit from selling Fast Pass tickets and some queue management. It's all about rides capacity.

+1 on this!! The capacity management side is one that you can sorta fudge together on RCT3.. you can build a ride and have enough trains so that it works as it would if there was a 3 hour queue to munch through.. but usually there wasn't lol.

If Frontier are going for a deeper simulation over a theme park building game, then this could look very interesting indeed. It reminds me a little of the element to Cities Skylines that no-one really expected: Road and traffic management.. You can lose hours perfecting road layouts without even caring because it creates a depth to the game..

While we are at it then, why not have queuelines that can have sections opened and closed based on how busy it might be that day? (Assuming we are getting an open / closed day cycle)... On quieter days, you can close parts of the queueline that aren't needed and open them again when the queue gets too long (or have an auto setting that does this for you when your park is too big to manage this)

Having thousands of people in a park would be awesome. If its not in the game I at least want a cheat that crowds the park. I think fastpass for a extra price that you choose would be a awesome feature. Having separate lines for fastpass and more realistic queues would be amazing.
