Viper with Class 2 distros = no turning capability really at speed.
This is probably the best 'balanced' Viper, giving you the 932 at about 70% fuel load, whilst still retaining about 6 boosts in the tank for agility at speed.

Pardon for the thread necro, but I've not found anything more recent than this.

I've been working on upgrading my Viper III, but it seems like there is a new max boost limit of 896m/s as no mass dropped will get it to move faster. Additionally, builds like the one above don't go to 932m/s any longer on the current ship builders (895m/s if you click the link).

Does anyone know if this was officially changed or what am I missing?

It's an issue on coriolis.io at least. Might be a problem with the Drag Drives experimental maths. Anyway, you can definitely still go faster in-game.
With "Drive Distributors" you will be capped at 896 though.

This is my fastest ship. I haven't flown it since before Odyssey dropped, but the numbers haven't changed that I've noticed. The screenshot is from today.
