Newcomer / Intro Fastest way to earn some gold?

I have a mission to get gold and i have been looking in unidentified signal sources for probably 2+ hours now and i still can't find any gold at all... Is it any special systems that can make you find gold faster? Or should i get mining equipment and try to mine it?

I just can't seem to find any gold at all...
So my simple question is: How can i earn gold?

You have to accept some contracts in Starports and after that you can earn some CR finding solution for accepted contract.

Gold is normally on sale at refinery stations, check the stations on the system map to see what functions they serve.
