I'm working on getting a Diamondback Scout next. That might look pretty cool too with it's engine nozzles facing down like somehting out of a F35 VTOL aircraft.

Until I can afford to crash land a Fer-de-Lance I'm using an Asp - admittedly it's a little harder to find a decent landing spot, but there's always enough clearance to park up underneath (unlike vulture, cobra and sidewinder I'd tried).
