Favorite non-combat focused ship for combat

For me, it has been my trusty courier. It's a versitile and great all-rounder that I can use for a wide range of mission types while my Vulture is my dedicated combat ship for CGs and the like.

Post 2.1, after coming back after a long hiatus of nearly 6 months, I had to dequip my courier and rebuy the Vulture. Getting back into things though, the courier is always fun to fly, though I have found a great outfit for the vulture (I used to hate flying it).

Prior to going into more expensive combat builds, and long before even the Vulture dropped, my ship of choice was the Cobra Mk III, which, after switching from the Viper, taught me proper power management and the like.

I have to say, I love my Courier. I first got it during an empire event where I also picked up the Clipper (which I recently sold because I just don't like it's poor shields). Since then, it has been my preferred go-to ship when I'm just doing random stuff in the galaxy.

I'm out in my ASP doing some dedicated exploring now, but I hope to get back into the seat of my Courier soon.

T9, definitely.
Stack it with hull reinforcment packages, military armor and bring it to one of the Combat Zones where a community goal takes place.
The face of other commanders seeing you jumping in with your battle cow must be priceless.
