Favorite Ship

Simple enough topic. Post your favorite small, medium and large ship. If needed, use https://coriolis.edcd.io for size reference.

My choices:

Small - Vulture. Tough, maneuverable, can survive in the harshest of combat environments.

Medium - Tie. FDL for anything combat related, Python for everything else.

Large - The one, the only, Anaconda. Versatile, decent jump range, SLF launching, SRV carrying delight to fly.

My choices:

Small - Cobra Mk3

Medium - I'd Say Python, BUT I hardly care about it anymore.

Large - None. They are all boring bricks.

Everyones favourite ship to hate; the Keelback!

It's my favourite ship, it can do everything in one package......ok not very well but ignore that.

But the one thing it does better than any other ship is to make you think before you do something, otherwise things can go horribly wrong.
It responds well to engineering, mine can boost to a shade over 410 m\s, has decent shield resistance and armour and can jump about 25 ly.

I just thought of something it can do well, heat management. Qualitative evidence shows it runs colder than my DBX in a similar exploration loadout.

Keelback is a good ship with a diferent pourpose

The problem is that people don't understand it's purpose is to keep you alive while you do minor things. it's not a great combat ship. but can take you out of shady situation (npc!)
Has a decent Jump range.
Has a SLF good for the DMG pool.
and the shield is not bad.

I have done a LOT of PvE in a keelback with fixed weapons. it makes me feel good about myself to take the challenge and it feels good to master a ship called "garbage"

I've had Sidey, hauler, cobra, AspX, python, Vulture, FAS, conda, uhhh....DBX, and the latest I bought is an iEagle.

Favorite is the AspX, but I have like 70,000ly on it. The Anaconda has the potential but I haven't put in the time or know enough about engineering to make it good yet.

The iEagle now, that's fun. Now that I know how to fly, I'm engineering that and the FAS next, after that maybe I'll try the Conda again
