FC Interiors almost hit the mark for me.

They are close to being right on the money.

Imo they need some tweaks:

  • The jump animation needs a bit of polishing. There is a bit of stuttering and the exit animation jumps from being in the clouds to just not (if you've seen the jump you'll know what I mean).
  • The right panel on the captain's chair needs to be interactable (take to FC management or something).
  • Things need to be interactable sat down anyway like the bartender. Also you cant go into ESC menu or the on foot wheel menu when sat down, requiring you to stand up to change volume or access chat.
  • The interiors has enhanced the need for the function of transferring tritium straight from storage to the depot (right now you have to get back into your ship to then load tritium).
  • Bartender materials cap needs to be increased by like x10.
  • Apex to carriers

Pretty good overall though.
 
I would have liked a free lounge/observation bay (next to the paid bar) or something.
But other than that, I agree.

Are you using a Nautilus class carrier? I've noticed this problem on my own Nautilus, but every video I've seen of other carrier types doesn't have that issue at the end of the jump. I wonder if it might be exclusive to that class due to the bridge being farther forward.

In the Buur Pit's video, and in every other Carrier Jump video I've seen (haven't found any other Nautilus videos yet, but I haven't looked very hard), there's always a smooth fade of the clouds.

Edit: Found another Nautilus video with the same issue, but I also found a Victory class video with the issue as well, so I guess it's not just isolated to the one class then. Hopefully they'll fix that.

I feel like the carriers need some things to do in there now that the visuals are done. It needs gameplay.
Also it would be nice if you could actually view the jump from the little commanders office. was a bit dissapointing to see me being forced out of there when the jump starts
