The only known way of accidentally losing a Fleet Carrier is to not pay the upkeep, to get rid of one deliberately you have to decommission it.Ok thanks, I'll check it out on my own skin, although losing fk will be very painful
Stations are indestructible as far as players are concerned but can be attacked and damaged by Thargoids but this happens offscreen with the connivance of FDev. I suspect you would have to put in a lot of work to get FDev to produce a damaged version of your carrier.
