I guess it only works if the docked commanders are also on Inara.

I can only dream of the mischief you could get up to if we had in-game real time info of this. Wait for someone to dock in a Sidewinder then jump the FC far away and laugh evilly.

Agreed. Fleet Carriers could certainly do with a good polish imho. You have just paid around 5.6 BILLION credits and you get a seat on the bridge and a crummy office, nothing else. You even have to go back to your ship(s) to bed down. You can sell first class cabins so why don't you get one after spending 5.6 BILLION credits?...lol
You know you can go way, way back to games like the Deus Ex series and drinks machines were full and you could have a drink in a bar, even get a little tipsy, even energy bars were available in machines...

Damn... why can't we transfer passengers to our Fleet Carriers to do those long range passenger missions?! Imagine stocking up on dozens of passenger missions to Colonia and then jumping your FC there then unloading them at their destinations.

You can only take 20 missions anyway, just fill up a Luga and park it on your carrier, job done lol

Even better, park the liner on someone else's FC, and unload once at destination.
