FD - Disappearing medical convoys? Is this a bug

I've followed a medical convoy through several systems, suddenly the ships dissapeared without doing a jump or enter SC. Is this a bug?

Several other CMDRS reported this issue, too...

Normal scripting behaviour perhaps?

I mean, they appear out of thin air, would make sense that their scripted journey also ends by them disappearing into thin air.
