FD have gone very quiet

Strikes me as a little odd given the reaction to some of the announcements in gamescom just how quiet FD have been?

No News letter this week 9 days since the last, they haven't even made any efforts to that heated instant discussion.

Come on FD what's occurring? Nothing to say is there no news - are all hands to the pump for 2.2? are you all just sitting back having a laugh at the reactions, everyone had the week off?

Oh as I type this I get a server error - have the Thargoids taken Cambridge?........

News letter 140 was in my in-box last Friday. There was some gossip about sea-shells and other stuff in it.

There was a news letter on friday.
Or have I gone mad?
No I haven't.
I am talking to myself, so I must have.
But there definitely was a newsletter on friday the 2nd.

They have a lot of catching up to do (forums) .... and thinking about what we all said [knocked out]

They've always gone silent when it comes to controversy. They always make sure to come around when they have a new skin pack or ship kits to sell though.

Uh no ? Viper MK IV skins got completely silently released, even newsletter 140 didn't pick that up. And that happens often. New skins on the Store ? Learn about it from the forum community, not the officials.

There was participation from Frontier in the discussions about the announcements from gamescom.

If they appear silent to you, that may be due to the community being rabidly hostile towards any announcement they've made in whatever direction, so working on the game instead of wasting time in flamewars is probably a more productive way for them to spend time and money.

Hey now. Rabidly hostile towards one particular announcement, sure. Which FD pretty much just blew off anyway. They didn't care then, doubt they care now.

Most Dev Teams Travel to Gamescom. Which usually means that short before Gamescom and for an short Period after Gamescom they are Fairly Silent. Cause they are Traveling Home and have to Build everything up Again.
Due to the Stress this poses they usually also take a break afterwards. :)


Also. Currently some Parts of the Community are Fairly Angry with them. Thanks to the Free Money Give Away which makes alot of People feel that they have wasted their Time over the last two Years.

And I am not seeing one in the forum hence my post - or is it 139 as that was dated 27th as was 138 - hence my confusion and my post

No doubt it'll arrive overnight now?
