FD - Idea for surface CG

Did you ever see Wages of Fear? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076740/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_60

Four desparate men agree to drive explosives across a jungle. It can't be flown by helicopter because "aircraft vibrations" + "sweaty nitroglycerin" = boom. (For some reason the vibrations from the trucks are OK, but that's a different story.)

The surface CG is to transport explosives using SRVs from one base to another. The opposing forces will try to blow up the SRVs with spacecraft and other SRVs, which means air support will be required. Done.

When do I get paid?

Never saw the movie, but I do live in an area where strip and blast mining happen, and I have seen vehicles that transport nitrogycerin both driving around and seen inside of them.

They look like stubby armored cars, and inside is a stable platform that prevents the nitro from actually jiggling or vibrating in transit. They're also refrigerated to keep the stuff cool because temperature also makes it unstable. It's pretty serious stuff.

They also take up the entire road, and have a police escort in front and behind, and drive slower than a funeral procession. In short, they're a pain in the butt for blocking up traffic.

I wish the CGs would have a little bit more diversity or were a bit more interesting. They are always take such and such to station A. However apart from lots of players or when a station was being built everything was just the same as any other station.

What would be cool is if there was actual AI or NPC blockades you had to try and boost through blocking the station entrance. Wouldn't be hard to Frontier to make a pirate instance at a CG station with pirates and space mines for example.
