FD! Please Allow Use Of Menus During Transitions! :(

I keep getting stuck in supercruise and hyperspace lately. And the only way out is kill the task. :(

Or adjust the timeout for an error.
The game used to time out if you was stuck in supercruise or hyperspace for too long. It doesn't anymore.
I waited 11 minutes the other week, and 5 minutes today.

Thanks.

Xbox or PC version. Either try submitting a bug report, giving details of your m/c.

Also it could be connections on your side. A couple of months ago I kept getting disconnect errors on Elite, this then developed to general router disconnects, sometimes just for a few seconds, enough to disconnect from Elite.
Turned out that my three year old router was on it's way out. I bought myself a new one - disconnects now very rare , problem solved!

and here i was hoping this topic was about the side panels working in witchspace... :(

CLICKBAAAAAAAIT! I got caught as well :D

On topic - I don't think that enabling menus while having connection errors/issues would solve anything. Instead of unresponsive whichspace you'd get unresponsive menus. Internet connection, router, wifi, firewall - those are the first things to check. If nothing helps - call support as already suggested.

Cheers.

I wish! :p

I know for a fact, my internet is dodgy. I mention it in nearly every post because it's bugging me so much. Lol
But I've had a brand new router, all new cables and filters and sockets, and BT have been out and checked the line multiple times.
But it's not showing any errors.

But then randomly my internet just dies for a few minutes. Lol

I know it's entirely my problem that my internet cuts out.
But ED should recognise a connection loss and quit back to the main menu, rather than get stuck in the transition forever, and require us to kill the task.

Not forgetting that little white switcher box of doom, if you have one. I had one break on me the very day I had my internet put in, was not impressed!
