FD staff back in office tomorrow

I heard somewhere that the frontier developments staff are back to work tomorrow (6th jan).
If this is true, and they said we will see the new year in with a BANG (again I heard this), does that mean new content for the alpha testers tomorrow?

Or at least soon, surely.

According to all and sundry FD are still aiming (and on target) for a march release (gamma phase). That means not much time to fit the rest of the alpha and both beta phases (which I will take part in - at least the 2nd beta phase anyhow)

So they gave us 1.1 before the xmas break, they're due in tomorrow and you expect 1.2 to be delivered on the same day?

I would think a strong cup of coffee and a few minutes to get their brains into gear would be the first thing on the agenda personally. :D

I posted it after the kickstarter too so sorry for a repeat but this is how I see the "top tier" of FD arriving after the break. The location in the vid is also appropriate, at the Cambridge Circus. It's a nice piece of "chamber play" anyway.

Perhaps less smoking in the FD offices now though and I think they have a lot more enthusiasm for work. :)

I'd expect to see something tomorrow (Monday) or at least by the end of the week, keeping in mind that most Alpha/Beta phases are probably already planned and coded.

I expect that after the break there will be some bug reports that they might like to investigate before turning loose another alpha phase.

possibly, on the other hand it mmay mmake sense to release the next alpha which could be completely unrelated to dogfights, such as docking or trade stations, then whilst they are fixing the issues found in the last alpha, you guys are fining issues in the new one

then add in the last fixes in the next build, kind of like a rolling format rather than release then wait

First day back? Coffee, tea, biscuits. Team meetings, briefings, emails, grabbing latest builds. End of the week or there abouts for any new builds methinks.

Yes it will be like that anyway, so that things move forward normally

I think its highly unlikely that anything new will be released tomorrow. I think its more realistic that something might be released either midweek or perhaps early next week. Either way I hope nothing is released tomorrow because my new joystick and graphics card haven't arrived yet :D
