It sounded like he said "but we can't announce that yet" then something about getting the moving parts working - which does sound like it's on the cards...

ETA - yes - now not sure if he was just talking about synching updates!

I was hoping to take on XB1 players, but there seems to be an issue with the way patching is rolled out by MS and FD, so this seems to be the issue, as we may all play in the same galaxy and instances, we will be on different versions and so won't be able to play together :(

Sounded like cross platform, that would be sweet. I have a few cross platform games I play, like War Thunder, its hard to tell who is playing on what and it seldom matters, it keeps the population numbers up. :)

So either they convince Microsoft to up the instance limit to 32, theirs is locked at 16. Or, they break the hard news to PC players that our instances are being dropped to 16 to support Xbox players. Or, no crossplay at all.

Which is most likely?

Theirs is locked because of beta as far as I have heard. We will see at XBO release. Btw, by speed they getting it it might come in August.

Also nothing says they can't increase it later. Especially on such standardized consoles as XBO.
